Approach

Based in Bristol and working across the South West, I'm Joseph Yarrow — founder of Luxhaus and a photographer with over two decades of experience capturing people and places with honesty, precision, and intent.

My background isn't in chasing trends or flashy edits. It's in quietly observing how light interacts with structures, how people move through designed spaces, and how those subtle interactions tell stories all on their own. Whether I'm documenting a handcrafted interior or the stillness of a new architectural build, my approach is always the same: calm, patient, and designed to get out of the way.

I've been trusted by architects, designers, homeowners, and brands who value thoughtful imagery — images that speak softly but carry weight.

Outside the studio

I'm a gardener, a collector of old cameras and clear glass bottles, and someone who will almost certainly forget to buy the tickets to a gig I wanted to go to. I dress smart when I need to, but I'm happiest in a hoody after a long shoot. I live just outside Bristol with my wife Jessica, who's been cheering me on since 2007.
